BirdLog compatible with Blackberry 10 devices?

I have a blackberry 10 device that is capable of running android apps if those apps are not dependent on Google services to function. Has anybody had success or know if BirdLog will run on a Blackberry 10 device?

Hi Jon,

I believe that the only Google services we use are Google Maps, which the app does rely on for selecting a location.

If you would like, I can email you the file, which you could test out for us. It would be great to know for sure whether or not it works.

Thanks,
Drew

Hello Drew,

Thanks for getting back.

Since I use eBird extensively, I bought the BirdLog app from Google Play. After installation, I'm sorry to say it didn't work on my Blackberry Z30 OS 10.2.1.3247. I was aware of a workaround for the apps that rely on some Google Services (Google "GMaps Patcher Blackberry"). so in the end I did mange to get it working. My concern would be that it continues to work as both you or Blackberry or Google update various apps, OS's, api's, etc.

I would be more then happy to assist in testing any of your company's app on my Blackberry Z30 to ensure that they work on BB10 devices.

Thanks

John
