No sightings showing in 'Nearby' and Browse by Location shows only a blue background

Occasionally users report seeing only a blue background when the browse the map, and not getting any sightings in Nearby.

The culprit is generally that location services are turned off, and spot the app defaults to a the coordinates (0.00,0.00) which is in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

You can fix this issue by enable Location Services on your phone, and checking that BirdsEye is set to 'Always'. If that doesn't work, delete and reinstall the app, making sure to give BirdsEye location permissions when you launch it.
